GENERAL EVENT INFO: Audiences will sit in individual 5'x5' squares painted on the lawn, spaced 15' feet from other squares, per state guidelines. 2 persons maximum for this size square. Masks required when not inside reserved seating squares. Patrons can bring blankets and/or low-back chairs. Picnics are also welcome, but there is a NO BYOB policy. Sealed wine and beer, sodas, and water will be available for a suggested donation, as well as contactless concession snacks. Portable restrooms available, as well as free onsite parking. Maximum audience at this event will be 130. Approx run time of concert 100 min, no intermission.
COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION: While attending this event, “social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at all times when not inside reserved seating squares to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, Fairfield Center Stage (FCS) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, FCS cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

Fairfield Center Stage, a local community theater group, will present an outdoor, socially-distanced ABBA-themed concert on the back lawn of The Scandinavian Club on Saturday, October 24th at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. FCS musicians and singers will recreate the greatest hits of ABBA, featuring a house band and rotating cast of singers performing classics such as “Dancing Queen” and “Waterloo” at this one-night-only concert, which will also feature an opening set of highlight songs from previous FCS musical productions.
The Scandinavian Club (1351 S Pine Creek Road, near South Pine Creek Beach) is a cultural venue with a spacious back lawn to enjoy live music while social distancing in Fairfield. This event is generously supported by Joyce Hergenhan.

Fairfield Center Stage, a community theater group led by Artistic Director Christy McIntosh-Newsom and Executive Producer Eli Newsom, utilizes local artists and staff from Fairfield County.
