Local community theater group Fairfield Center Stage presents a new cabaret concert titled Broadway DNA: Decoding a Showtune on Saturday March 29 @ Trevi Lounge in Fairfield. Featuring songs from classic and newer musicals and stories about their writers, the concert explores the craft through which songs express character and further dramatic action. Many of the songs will be well known, some less so, and some brand new

Longtime FCS Music Director and Composer Clay Zambo will serve as host and music director of the concert and has curated a setlist of 30+. The cast of singers includes Jane Barnes, Marc Improta, Cara Kramer, Nick Kuell, Julie Loyd, Samantha Moore, Marcelle Morrisey, Kevin Pelkey, Lindsay Protsko, Mark Silence, and Alexis Willoughby. The singers will be backed by 3 veteran FCS musicians: Clay Zambo (Keyboard/Music Director), Mac Johnston (Violin/Bass), and Gabe Nappi (Drums). Brian Bish serves as Director, with Chris Gensur providing Sound Design. The event is produced by Eli Newsom.

Event Policies:
Ticket prices are $18 (regular reserved) and $25 (tables of 2 or 4, must purchase entire table). 

The minimum age for this event is 13+ (under 18 with chaperone, please). Trevi Lounge is a local bar that will be open for drink service before, during, and after the performance. Patrons 21+ wishing to purchase alcohol should bring ID to present to the Trevi lounge bartending staff. No outside food or drink allowed. Restrooms available, as well as free onsite parking. Approx. running time of this concert is 2 hours including one intermission. Patrons will check in at the entrance and show their phone with order confirmation email. No printed paper needed/accepted, as this is a contactless event. Tickets are available in advance now, and will be available at the door if the event has not yet sold out. Fairfield Center Stage, a community theater group led by Artistic Director Christy McIntosh-Newsom and Executive Producer Eli Newsom, utilizes local artists and staff from Fairfield County. Inspired by the concept of environmental theatre, FCS aims to put Fairfield “center stage,” by highlighting several of the town’s unique venues.
